Seven Artists
Contribute to the
Auckland School
of Architecture

Among the most impressive recent contributions of artists to the aesthetics of public buildings in this country were works commissioned for the newly-completed Auckland School of Architecture. Four painters and two sculptors were involved: Patrick Hanly, Don Driver, Barry Lett, Dick Frizzell; together with Greer Twiss and Peter Nicholl. John Drawbridge has a work still under construction. The architects were Kingston Reynolds Thorn and Allardice. Here we publish Gil Hanly's photographs of the completed installations, with some work-in-progress pictures.
